Frequently asked questions
What is mobile chiropractic care?
Mobile chiropractic care is a modern approach to healthcare that brings the expertise of a licensed chiropractor directly to your preferred location—be it your home, workplace, or another convenient setting. Rather than requiring you to travel to a traditional clinic, the chiropractor arrives equipped with everything necessary to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal issues, including back pain, neck pain, muscle tightness, and other related conditions.
What conditions can chiropractic care help with?
Chiropractic care focuses on the evaluation and non-invasive treatment of musculoskeletal and nervous system–related conditions. Care commonly helps with back pain (upper, mid, or lower), neck pain, stiffness, and restricted movement, as well as tension headaches, migraines, sciatica, and nerve-related discomfort. Treatment may also address joint pain or reduced mobility in the shoulders, hips, knees, wrists, or other extremities. Many patients seek care for postural imbalances, spinal alignment concerns, muscle tension, spasms, or strains related to daily activities, work demands, or sports. Mobile chiropractic care can also support recovery from injuries, help manage arthritis-related joint discomfort, improve range of motion, and address issues related to poor ergonomics or repetitive use. Each visit is tailored to your individual condition, goals, and comfort level, with care provided safely and effectively in your own space.
Is chiropractic safe?
Chiropractic care is safe for most people when performed by a licensed chiropractor. Before treatment, the patient’s health history and current condition are assessed to ensure that the techniques used are appropriate for their age, health status, and specific concerns. Treatments are non-invasive and tailored to each individual’s needs, focusing on relieving pain, improving mobility, and supporting overall wellness.
Who can receive chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care is suitable for people of all ages, from children to older adults. Treatments are customized to each patient’s age, health condition, and specific concerns. Before starting care, the chiropractor evaluates each individual to ensure the techniques and treatment plan are safe and effective.
How can I schedule my first visit?
To get started, simply call or send a message to arrange a free phone consultation. During this brief conversation, we’ll discuss your concerns, determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for you, and make sure we’re a good fit. If everything aligns, we’ll schedule your first visit at a time and location that’s most convenient for you. After your initial session, you can conveniently schedule future appointments through your online patient portal, where you can choose the dates and times that best fit your schedule.
Can a patient request mobile chiropractic care at locations other than their home?
Yes. Clients are welcome to request mobile chiropractic care at their workplace, private gym, or any other location that is safe, comfortable, and appropriate for setting up a treatment table. Our mobile service is designed to bring high‑quality chiropractic care directly to you—wherever it best fits your schedule and comfort. As long as the environment allows for a proper treatment setup and ensures your safety, we’re happy to travel to the location that works best for you. Our goal is to make expert chiropractic care as convenient, flexible, and accessible as possible.
What happens during a first visit?
At your initial visit, I arrive with a portable chiropractic table and all necessary equipment to provide a thorough and comfortable evaluation and treatment. We’ll start with a conversation about your health history, current symptoms, and wellness goals so I can fully understand your needs. I’ll then perform a comprehensive examination, which may include posture checks, orthopedic assessments, and neurological tests as appropriate. Once I’ve gathered all the information, I’ll clearly explain my findings and share a personalized care plan tailored to your specific concerns. I’ll answer any questions you may have and then begin treatment, all in the comfort of your own space.
How long does a chiropractic visit take?
Your first visit usually takes 45–60 minutes, giving plenty of time to review your health history, talk about your concerns, and create a personalized care plan. For follow-up visits, you have two options of 30-minute or a 45-minute session, each designed to fit your needs and schedule. This way, you can choose the option that works best for you while continuing your progress.
What should I wear to my appointment?
It’s best to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement. Clothing that lets the chiropractor access areas like your back, neck, and shoulders will help ensure a more effective evaluation and treatment. Athletic wear, yoga pants, or casual clothes are ideal. If a treatment requires more direct access, a clean gown will be provided for your comfort and privacy.
What can you expect after a chiropractic treatment?
Many patients experience immediate relief, improved mobility, or reduced tension following a chiropractic session. Mild soreness—similar to what you might feel after stretching or exercising—is common and usually subsides within 24–48 hours. Your chiropractor will provide personalized aftercare guidance, which may include staying hydrated, gentle movement, home exercises, or specific stretches to help you maximize the benefits of your treatment.
Do I need X-rays or imaging before my visit?
X-rays or other imaging are not required before a chiropractic visit in most cases. The chiropractor will review the patient’s health history and perform a thorough examination and assessment to determine whether imaging is necessary. If the patient has recent imaging related to their current chief complaint, it can be helpful for further evaluation. If additional or new imaging is recommended, the doctor will discuss this with the patient in detail and explain the reasons for the recommendation before proceeding.
Do I accept insurance?
Currently, my mobile chiropractic services are cash-based only, and insurance is not accepted. This approach allows care to focus fully on the patient’s needs, providing personalized treatment without the limitations or delays that can come with insurance billing.
How to pay for the service?
I accept cash as well as all major credit and debit cards for your convenience. A valid credit or debit card is required to be kept on file at the time of booking to secure your appointment. After your treatment, you may choose how you’d like to pay. If you pay with cash, the card on file will not be charged. If you choose to pay by card, the card on file will be charged accordingly.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice, failure to provide access to the treatment location, or failure to provide a safe environment for care will result in a charge of the full-service fee.
